Nespresso's REVIVING ORIGINS program joins with farmers and partners to support coffee communities in raising Congo coffee to its full stature. Each year, we'll bring you more of this smooth organic coffee with its mild fruity notes and alluring sweet cereals and nutty aromas.
Fruity & Biscuity
Origin: The rich volcanic soils of the Kivu lakeshores are fertile ground for Congo’s farmers to bring you this mild coffee’s fruity and sweet cereal notes
Roasting process: Congo Organic is a 50/50 split roast. Both splits are dark and short, with the first split being slightly darker and longer to develop more intensity for this coffee. The particle size is a bit coarser than in Original to be better adapted to the Professional system.
Sensorial profile: a smooth organic coffee with toasted cereal notes, nutty aromas and mild fruitiness.
