In Brazil, the “Conillon” robusta coffee variety, dried in the sun especially for Nespresso, and the rare,  washed robusta coffee from Guatemala give the blend an intensity without the typical tartness characteristic of robusta. South American arabica adds a layer of mildness to this mix.

Palenie
In order for each coffee to unleash its full aromatic potential, the experts at Nespresso opted for a separate roasting technique. Robusta coffees are roasted intensely for a strong bitterness and full-bodied flavor, while Arabica coffee is roasted longer and more gently to bring out its mild aromas and sweet notes.
